My walk in black and white

Today we had snow. Not very much (unlike other places) but enough for a covering. So at lunchtime we decided to go out walking. We put on our boots, coats, scarves, glooves and my new hat that Dad brought me back from Nepal. Just what was needed in this weather!

We headed off along the walled garden and then down Clock House drive. I took a couple of photos and thought for a change I post them in black and white. It was lovely walking on virgin snow! It had that crunching sound under foot.

We were going to head off down to the Lake but decided on a late change of route and headed back on the road around Lindsay. In total we walked around 1.5 miles.

We've had quite a bit of snow early evening ... in fact it is still snowing now so if it's still around and I can get to work tomorrow I'll hopefully get some more photos on my walk tomorrow.
